Prospect Lefferts Garden (PLG) is located directly to the east of Prospect Park, opposite Park Slope, south of Prospect Heights, and north of Ditmas Park, which is all million-dollar neighborhoods. PLG shares several qualities with neighborhoods such as Park Slope, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, and Crown Heights, which have seen tremendous appreciation and growth over the years. These commonalities include proximity to parks for recreation, hospitals, and universities that provide employment and draw new residents each year, historic architecture, and an easy commute to Manhattan. Real estate surrounding Prospect Park is especially limited and PLG is one of the few neighborhoods in this area that still has potential for development and equity.
